According to Emplifi data, nearly half of the businesses on Instagram published at least one Reel in Q2 2022, up from 30% in Q2 2021. So why is it crucial for marketers to keep developing their social media strategy to include video-focused content using tools like Reels?
According to Emplifi data, for Q2 2022 alone, the median engagement rate on Reels was nearly 40% greater than on typical videos. Reels are far more shareable than typical feed posts, and the Instagram algorithm still prefers this type of content over others.

On Instagram, we strive to have our clients create "engagement first" content. And brands can do that by utilizing unique features like Boomerangs on Stories, as a great way to foster engagement.
