LinkedIn Launches Native Post Scheduling in the App

Meeting the needs of subject matter experts and those who provide thought leadership, LinkedIn has started to roll out post scheduling for users on desktop and Android. Additionally, according to LinkedIn, post scheduling will soon be available for Groups, Company Pages, and other types of content.

For agencies or companies that use third-party social media tools like Sprout Social, it's not a game-changer, as you can already schedule LinkedIn posts. But any social media professional will tell you that native scheduling options tend to be a little more reliable, particularly regarding how your posts will appear once they go live.

By adding another tool to LinkedIn's functionalities, businesses and subject matter experts can make the most of their online presence.

TikTok Increases Audience Analysis

TikTok has introduced Audience Insights, a platform feature accessible worldwide within TikTok Ads Manager, to assist advertisers and social media professionals in better understanding their target audience on the platform.

With Audience Insights, your brand can:

  • Explore TikTok user interests, behaviors, and demographics to maximize advertising results

  • Discover aggregate audience information through easy-to-use filter settings

  • Strengthen your audience approach with qualitative and quantitative data

To maximize the impact of your TikTok efforts, employ Audience Insights in one of the previously mentioned ways. Explore popular hashtags and user interests to plan content. You can find the right audience with whom your content will resonate more effectively by evaluating popular hashtags and interest categories. Doing so will empower you and your clients to communicate with your target audience more confidently because you spent time understanding that audience in the first place.

Elon Musk Outlines Roadmap for ‘Twitter 2.0’

More Elon Musk and Twitter news coming at you. In SocialMediaToday, Elon Musk highlights his vision for “Twitter 2.0.” The opening slide of Musk's presentation, which shows data going back to 2014, displays that the number of new user sign-ups is at an all-time high. It's a start, but without more information, it's difficult to infer what it implies.

Given that accounts must have been active for at least 90 days earlier to qualify for Twitter Blue to receive a blue checkmark, could this be scammers creating a large number of accounts very quickly?

Musk also states that users time spent on the app is at an all-time high. It's interesting to note that, according to the graph in the article that Musk also tweeted, the average Twitter user spends 31.5 minutes per day on the social media platform.

Basically, the data shows that Twitter is back at its previous usage levels, after losing its way for some time, which is not surprising given Musk's capacity to spark controversy and discussion. Despite those figures, brands and advertisers are avoiding using their limited advertising spend on a platform that is struggling with content moderation issues.
